Parks, beaches and the trail in Deephaven
Choose the activity first
The city lists play areas, paths, courts, ballfields and winter recreation facilities at Thorpe Park, 3725 Hamilton Avenue. Village Hall Park at 20225 Cottagewood Road is a trail-access point. Burton Park near Carson’s Bay offers walking trails and a fishing pier.
A beach or a longer route
Deephaven Main Beach is listed at 19405 Lake Avenue with a swimming dock and picnic facilities. Confirm parking and swimming-supervision arrangements separately. For a longer land outing, Three Rivers describes the Lake Minnetonka Regional Trail as 15.8 miles of aggregate surface between Hopkins and Carver Park Reserve, passing through Deephaven.
Use the responsible operator’s rules
Municipal parks and regional trails can have different rules, including pet restrictions. Check conditions, closures and the exact facilities you need. Winter rink operation depends on weather; a park’s winter amenities do not promise that a rink is currently open. Marina season dates also require current confirmation.
