Checking schools for a Minnetonka Beach address
Verify the district first
Orono Public Schools lists Minnetonka Beach among the communities it serves in whole or part. This is a useful starting point, not a substitute for checking the exact residence. The district warns that rental and real-estate listings can misstate school-district information.
Understand the school sequence
Orono’s academic sequence is Schumann Elementary for kindergarten through grade 2, Intermediate for grades 3–5, Middle for grades 6–8 and High for grades 9–12. The district describes a single K–12 campus in Long Lake, with early learning also offered.
Confirm the arrangement before relying on it
Ask enrollment staff to confirm the address, assigned schools and documents needed for resident enrollment. Review any program-specific requirements separately. An open-enrollment application, a mailing-city name or a prior resident’s arrangement does not guarantee admission or transportation. Use current district information rather than old rankings, class-size promises or graduation statistics.
